| This is the index of a travel log of our 65 night Latin America Cruise, in commemoration of our 45th wedding anniversary, from January 10, 2010 to March 16 on an American cruise ship "Regent Seven Seas Mariner". More specifically, it is with the registry in Bahamas, but operated by an American company "Regent Seven Seas Cruises". Registry used to be in a French South Pacific island, Wallis & Futuna. We took World Cruise in 2002 and Asian Pacific Cruise in 2006. Latin America is very far from Japan, actually it is in the opposite side on the globe, and we are rather ignorant about it. We earnestly wanted to visit Panama Canal, Machu Picchu, Patagonia, Buenos Aires, Amazon and many other interesting places. We'll call 36 ports, including 31 new ports for us, and Panama Canal, of 18 countries, among which 13 countries we visit for the first time. Our visits will include 8 and a half UNESCO World Heritages; Quirigua in Guatemala on January 14, Chan Chan - Cuzco - Machu Picchu - Lima in Peru on January 22-28, Peninsula Valdes in Argentina on February 14, Sacramento in Uruguay on February 16, Salvador in Brazil on February 25 and Lago Janauari in Brazil on March 5 which is next to a UNESCO World Heritage "Central Amazon Conservation Complex". |
これは、私共の結婚45周年記念の、米クルーズ船Regent Seven Seas Mariner号による2010年1月10日から3月16日まで65泊の南米クルーズ旅行記の索引です。正確には、この船はBahamas船籍ですが、米会社Regent Seven Seas Cruisesが営業し運行しています。以前はこの船の船籍は南太平洋の仏海外県Wallis & Futuna諸島にあったので三色旗を掲げていましたが、2006年に青黄黒のBahamaの旗に変わりました。 2002年の世界一周旅行と2006年のAsia Pacific一周旅行に次いで3度目の長期クルーズです。最後の長期クルーズになるかも知れません。 南米は地球の反対側で遠いので、あまり良く知りません。Panama Canal, Machu Picchu, Patagonia, Buenos Aires, Amazonなどを是非見たかった訳です。訪問することになる8.5箇所の世界遺産は、1/14にGuatemalaのQuirigua、1/22-28にPeruのChan Chan, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, Lima、2/14にArgentinaのValdes半島、2/16にUruguayのSacramento、2/25にBrazilのSalvadorで8か所です。3/5に訪れるLago Janauariは、世界遺産Central Amazon Conservation Complexの隣接地です。 仕事仲間には長期の留守で申し訳なく、気がとがめますが、幸いInternet時代だからかなりの仕事は船上でできると思っています。 「うつせみ」'10/ 1/11 南米一周の旅に 。 |
